The Girona Congress Center hosts the 19th training course in Multiple Sclerosis disease organized by the Spanish Society of Neurology.

Girona has been chosen to celebrate the 19th edition of the training course in Multiple Sclerosis disease for the SEN Neurology residents. The training course will take place on March 31 and April 1 at the Girona Congress Centre.
The meeting is organized by the Spanish Society of Neurology and reveives more than 150 professionals coming from all over Spain. Doctor Josep Trueta Univeristy Hospital of Girona is the local leader of the day along with the coordinator Dr. Lluís Ramió, head of the Neurology department of the hospital.
The meeting is an excellent opportunity for future neurologists to get a better training in the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis; the neurodegenerative chronic and inflammatory disease of the central nervous system which according to the Spanish Neurology Society (SEN) affects 7,000 people in Catalonia, 47,000 people in Spain, 700,000 in Europe and 2.5 million people worldwide. The course will focus on the diagnosis, treatment and management of Multiple sclerosis.
